Celtic Rose is a custom that I did for my mother. My mother loved Easter Joy [link] and wanted her own green pony. So she asked me to make her a green custom with some red roses and lively red and green hair. She couldn’t decide if she wanted one rosebud or a whole branch, so I did both.^^

Celtic Rose is fully painted with acrylics. I used a sponge to get a smooth surface. Then I painted the roses with a small brush. Especially tricky were her celtic bands around her hooves. I gave her blue eyes for a little contrast to her other colours. Finally I rehaired her with Cherry Pie and Poison Ivy from Dollyhair and gave her a green and red ribbon. ^^

Although she was a birthday present for my mother, she is part of the Garthr universe, so please don’t copy her.

Celtic Rose’s story:
Before coming to Garthr, Celtic Rose had been living with a little girl, who loved her dearly. This girl lived with her parents in an old scottish manor. The manor was surrounded with thousends of roses. Yellow roses, red roses, white roses, purple roses,… Everywhere you looked there were roses. The girl often took Celtic Rose to the gardens for play. And the often helped the gardener who took care of the flowers.
When Celtic Rose came into Garthr, she wanted nothing more than to have her own great garden full of roses. Since she had learned a lot in the human world she grows the most wonderful roses in all Garthr. You can findl roses of all colours and sizes. And sometimes there are a few which can do magic. All ponies come to her to look at her beautiful garden and she always gives them some of her flowers.
